    Wise County's own Sean Brock to be featured on the Food Network

    Just wanted to let anyone interested that Sean Brock, a native of Wise County and Abingdon will be on the Food Network March 1 at 9:30. He is the executive chef at McCrady's restaurant in Charleston, S.C. Giada De Lorenta's new show Weekend Getaways did a special on the restaurant. Sean is a 1997 Graduate of Abingdon High School, but attended school in Pound until he was 11. He has been featured in Food & Wine magazine, Southern Living and has been on other shows shown on the Food Network. He was voted Nashville's Chef of the Year when he lived there. Did I mention he's my little brother???-LOL!

    Thats great, and being a Food Network fan I will try to keep an eye out for it.

    A fellow RC alum, Jack McDavid, used to have a show on there with Bobby Flay a few years ago. He owns 2 or 3 restaurants in Philly that have been very successful.

    I guess I better correct this. I found out just now that it's March 9. Sean told me the wrong date earlier. You'd think he would know when he is going to be on T.V.-LOL!...
